Single element transducers

Single element and annular array transducers for mechanical probes offer a very high image quality for low overall cost by saving dozen of acoustic and eletronic channels.

The typical performances of this type of transducers are :

• High sensitivity : loop gain up to -12dB
• High bandwidth 70% and more
• Direct mechanical focusing for accurate beam width
• Long term resistance to probes coupling liquid and to mechanical oscillations : no performance variation checked after 6 years of use
