Vibroacoustography
Vibroacoustography is an innovative
imaging principle based on the analysis of transversal waves emitted
in the tissues.
These waves are generated by the combination of two high intensity ultrasonic
beams, with different centre frequencies.
Imasonic develops multi-channel transducers,
offering enough bandwidth and low cross coupling for simultaneous emission
of two beams with different frequencies.
A process for precise direct focusing
of the active area, as well as the use of particular piezocomposite
structures enable to generate the required acoustic intensity.
